Outside Mullingar

Outside Mullingar, a funny, moving and off-beat Irish love story from John Patrick Shanley, author of the hit film “Moonstruck”. Anthony and Rosemary are two introverted misfits straddling 40. Neighbors, friends and adversaries, they slowly realize they are meant to be together. A compassionate, delightful work about how it’s never too late to take a chance on love.

NEW AUTUMN SEASONAL PICNIC DINNER OPTIONS FROM THE SWIFT HOUSE
Jessica’s at Swift House Inn will be offering boxed picnic dinners to attendees for the evening performances of Outside Mullingar as well as bar service up until curtain time.
 
Picnic choices are as follows:
– Roast Chicken, farro salad with cucumbers, feta, dried cranberries, roasted almonds and a honey mustard dressing  – $25
– Poached Salmon, red and golden beet salad with spinach, chevre and an orange ginger dressing – $25
– Vegetarian antipasto salad with hummus and pita chips – $22
– All of the above are served cold.  The chicken and the salmon are served with slices of French batard and garlic olive oil.

 All picnics include a dessert choice of:
– Flourless Chocolate Cake   or   Lemon Tart with fresh berries
 
The bar will  be available from 6:00pm until curtain.  Please remember that no outside alcoholic beverages may be brought onto the grounds at Swift House Inn.
 
Orders must be placed and prepaid by 5:00p the day prior to the performance.  Pickup will be available at the Inn beginning at 6:00pm when the lawn opens.  Phone orders only: 802-388-9925.
 
PARKING 
Swift House Inn has its own parking lot on Stewart Lane with limited capacity, opposite the main Inn building and there is no parking in the lot behind the circle at the main building, on Stewart Street itself or on High Street which runs perpendicular to Stewart Lane.   Lot parking is available behind he Methodist Church on Seminary Street.  Nearby street parking opportunities (marked spaces only) include Washington Street from Court Square to High Street and Seminary Street between North Pleasant Street and High Street.
