IT RUNS WITH THE TERRITORY: A PRINDLE WISSLER RETROSPECTIVE

She’s the best-loved and longest-living artist in Middlebury history.  When she died at age 99, in 2011, she left behind a legacy of hundreds of colorful, dynamic canvasses.

The Prindle Wissler Retrospective will open with a reception on Thursday, May 12, from 5-7 pm, which is open to all.  The exhibit will run through June 30. The Jackson Gallery is open Monday-Friday from noon-5 pm, as well as during performances at Town Hall Theater.
“She was a little fireball,” says THT artistic director Douglas Anderson, “the kind of spirited visionary who entertained and inspired an entire community.  It’s such a joy to see her work brought together again.”
